Your conduct online reflects on the entire guild. A few simple rules should help clarify expectations.
Communication with others in the Guild.
- Speak politely, in full sentences.
- Do not spam the guild channel (ie: talk on guild chat if you are in a group rather than switching channels or ramble on about things irrelevant to other members). If you do this, you may be demoted to "Potato Peeler" with no guild chat privileges.
- Do not disrespect those above your rank. If you have an issue with someone of a higher rank, talk to the Guild Leader or another member of the Council. Serious grievances will be brought to the Sunday night council meetings.
- Malfurions Raiders recurits very selectively. Please ask interested individuals to speak with an Officer in the guild and fill out an application.
- If you are having problems with another guild member, report them to a ranked member for investigation. If you are having problems with a council member, report them to another member of the council.
- Absolutely NO HARASSMENT of any guild member, for any reason, is tolerated. Comments that are discriminatory or derogatory in nature against any group or individual are grounds for discipline up to and including removal and banning from the guild. This includes religious preference, marital status, race, handicap, or physical appearance. This includes the use of racial and gender slurs (ie: "gay" to denote soemthing silly or negative) on guild chat or in Teamspeak. Refusal to comply with this rule wil result in discipline and/or removal from the guild, depending upont he nature of the transgression.
- If any member of Malfurion's Raiders is EVER caught begging, they will be immediately removed from the guild. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Help Other Members
- If you are part of Malfurion's Raiders, be loyal to your guildmates. When we are doing world PVP do not switch to Horde characters and spoil the fun. If you do, expect to be asked to leave the guild.
- A key focus of this guild is working together. It should not be an imposition to help other members.
- When you pick up a good piece of equipment that you cannot use, consider offering it to your other guild members. You can do this via guild chat, or by submitting the stats to the webpage.
- Share your buffing ability when you see another member.
- Share information if someone is having problems.
- Group with other guild mates to complete quests and run instances.
Real World Rules
- Speak in full sentences, be cognizant of grammar, "leet speek" is firmly discouraged.
- ALT'S: You may have any two characters under 70, to a maximum of four in the guild.
- You may not invite non-guild characters to use the guild Ventrilo Server.
- Bad language and/or racial or gender slurs are not permitted. We do not use any racial slurs, or gender slurs (ie: "gay" meaning something silly or negative) in guild chat or on Ventrilo.
